The Georgia/Florida Youth Rodeo Association finished up it's fourth year with an
incredible Finals June 5-7 at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.
There were some exciting races for the championship saddles, giving the
spectators some 'great watching', as it came down to the last go round in some events.
One of the most exciting events was the steer wrestling. Cole Fulford, the 2008
FHSRA Champion, and Blaine Bennetch, an avid  team roper who picked up the
he-man event just this past year, went head to head for the title and it came down to
who threw their steer the fastest in the last round. Bennetch came out as the 2009
Champion after winning the average.
